Acer Liquid Jade: A Difficult Creation By Acer Technologists

That was last May in New York, Acer unveiled the prototype of a new smartphone which contrasted with what the Taiwanese brand offered so far. It was the Acer Liquid Jade, a smartphone that comes out this month with a 5 “display, a small footprint and weighs only 120g. It does not take long and will be priced at € 229.

What is impressive when you take it in hand, it is its weight and bulk. It is very light despite its 5 “display. The design is rather successful, we only regret the glossy plastic that mark easily. As for features, the Acer Liquid Jade offers a screen with a 720p resolution, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6582 and therefore weighs 120g with a thickness of 7.5mm.

We regret the lack of 4G and perhaps not full HD resolution, but we will not start to become fussy for a price of 229 with a rather successful design.

On the design side, the S2 Liquid offers a nice metal finish with a red back and a brushed aluminum correct even if the size of the screen starts to be significant grip. One gripe about the weight of the unknown devices yet, but that seems a little heavy, Acer we nonetheless confirmed that the model presented was not the final version.

But this is the picture that Acer wants to surprise on this model ignored as the S2 Liquid embarks indeed a 13 megapixel BSI NPC capable of shooting 4K and make panoramas of 27 megapixels and a photo application that promises to be extremely thorough. Note that the sensor comes with an LED flash ring, a first on a smartphone. Hope for the best for Acer Liquid Jad.
