a. What is social fabric?
b. Why is sustainable fuel program necessary, Explain.
c. Explain the usefulness of Raju’s solar power in implementing sustainable development plan.
d. The farm of Raju’s uncle is helpful in maintaining the balance of “environment”—Analyze
Social fabric is the composite demographics of defined area, which consists of its ethnic composition, wealth, education level, employment rate and regional values. It is the relationships and connections among the members of the community, or a bonding with one another making us all a part of the common thread of society as a whole.
A sustainable fuel programme is necessary as such plans would meet our needs today without risks of the sources running out in the future. In addition, sustainable energy is ‘clean’, meaning that it does not harm the environment.
The usefulness of Raju’s solar power plant in implementing sustainable development goals is tremendous. Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity, either directly using photo-voltaic, indirectly using concentrated solar power, or a combination. Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or minors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Photo-voltaic cells convert light into an electric current using the photo-voltaic effect.
To achieve Sustainable development goals (SDGs) , governments and countries would have to increase consumption of natural and renewable energy instead of those cause harm to nature. From the discussion above, we can say that Raju’s solar power system can be very useful in implementing SDGs .
d. The farm of Raju’s uncle is helpful in maintaining balance of environment as well as controlling global warming. Bangladesh is one of the highest disaster prone areas of the world. We know that the whole world is undergoing a climatic change due to temperature rise on the earth surface, or global warming. This climatic change causes less crop productions in the Torrid Zone during the dry season.
Besides, this results in excessive rain, flood and water logging in the rainy season as well as droughts, tornadoes, cyclone, tidal-bore or similar natural disasters in the dry seasons. Sudden cold or hot wave, fog’ hailstorm, land sliding, and salinity at the coastal belt are also some by-products of this problem. Farm of Raju’s uncle in the stem along with such more farms that spread greenery can help reduce the temperature and balance the environment.
