Bangladesh Agriculture University is situated on the bank of river Brahmaputra Mymensingh. It’s area is near about 1250 acre. There are Botanical Garden and Agriculture Research institute contains rare species of plant which is the half of portion of Asian region. It is the institution of every level of higher education and research of agriculture. It plays vital role to agricultural development through ensuring the high level of agricultural education. it plays significant role to develop the standard of living of our people.

This University indicates to reach in which goal of SDG? Explain it in respect of Bangladesh.
This University acts to attain into the goal along with International Organization—Evaluate.
a. The main goal of sustainable development goals is to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
b. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is a collection of 17 global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. The SDGs, set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and intended to be achieved by the year 2030, are part of UN Resolution 70/1, the 2030 Agenda.
c. The university in the stem indicates towards the objective of removing hunger from the country, of the UN’s SDG.
Sustainable development includes 17 goals, 169 objectives and 230 fixed indicators. It is necessary to grow bumper crops to remove hunger but excessive use of pesticides will affect human health, environment and bi-diversity. Even self-sufficiency in food earned in this way cannot be considered sustainable development. So, we have to be calculative and careful about the use of pesticides while increasing food production. This is what Bangladesh Agriculture University is doing and as a result, they are helping to remove hunger from the country.
Focusing on the above discussion, SDG calls on removing hunger in order to make the earth livable for human.
d. The university mentioned in the stem plays a role in removing hunger. The United Nations has declared Sustainable Development Goals or SDG on 25th September, 2015. The main purpose of SDG is- demolishing the poverty from all countries of the world, which will develop and will bring balance in the economy, society and environment of the world.
In the stem, the works of Bangladesh Agriculture University has been mentioned. In this university there are botanical garden and an agricultural research institute which contains rare species of plant which is half of the portion of Asian region. This is helping to eradicate hunger form the country by increasing food production. Thus it will full the objective of United Nations’ SDG of ‘Zero Hunger’.
Bangladesh Agriculture University works for development of plants and promotes greenery. Besides, they invent plants or trees that have the capacity of adapting with the changed climate.
