Several types of training are offered to company employees. As part of the continuing vocational training of employees of a company, sometimes the responsibility of the leader to choose the type of training for company employees. Some courses can be offered in-house while others are offered through flatmate or meetings in the company’s external. This article aims to analyze the situation of vocational training in business and the variety of choices available to management.First we can define the professional training as the continuous process of learning offered to employees that allow them to adapt to changing work, the strategic directions of the company, an industry or World work in general. It is important not to confuse vocational training and other learning methods such as group training or tutoring. As the name implies, vocational training is actually an occupation. It is interesting that several professional associations, such as the order of the CPA, CA, CMA for example, requires a minimum number of hours of training to its members. This exigency is to keep members updated about the recent development in the area and demonstrates thereby the importance of vocational training, whether in business or in society as a whole.
At company level, there are two broad categories of training, internal training and external training. Both types of training can often look at the nature of the action and training model. However, the big difference lies in the type of employee covered by the training and implementation of the training itself.Generally, external training is characterized by private or public organization that provides training to employees of a company against remuneration.On the other side, internal training is offered by the company internally for its own employees. It is considered that training is internal when it is organized in the same legal entity. It can often be performed on the workplace or outside the company premises if the training is practical in nature. It is thus clear that the company is responsible for the content, the design and the complete organization of the training workshop. It will use more often than trainers selected staff who demonstrate knowledge and leadership in the field of vocational training.
