How Living Things Depend On Air

Air is one of the basic elements of our environment and is one of the most important elements for our existance in the earth. Air contains oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases necessary for us.

Oxygen is the gas without which no living things can survive in the earth. Animals need oxygen to produce energy and stay alive. So without air, we can say that animals will die. Plants need carbon dioxide to survive which is also a part of air. So, without air no living things can survive.

Air is also responsible for weather conditions. For example, rain, snow etc. is dependent on air flow. So, we can say that all the living things around us is fully dependent on air and without it all will die.
