Collective bargaining is a method of setting wage disputes by Trade unions. Trade unions can secure higher wages by collective bargaining instead of strikes and other methods. It is the method under which both the employer and the leader of employees negotiate with one another and solve wage disputes.
The agreement arrived at will be written and signed by the employer and leaders of the workers. Neither the leaders of the worker nor the employer should violate the terms of the agreement. Now in several industries this method is adopted for settling wage disputes.
If it is to be successful there must be strong trade unions and employer should recognize the trade unions. And also there should be cordial relations between the employer and employees. Then only they can settle wage dispute peacefully.
